CORPORATE CLIENTS
Actor, comedian, author & voice-over artist Andrea Powell is renowned for her many characterisations, her most well known being Australia’s favourite Octogenarian - Mrs Ethel Chop. She has over 20 years experience entertaining corporate clients at conferences, work events, functions, dinners and the like. She performs these roles in both character and as herself, depending on the requirements of the event.
One of the many bonuses of Andrea's extensive experience in corporate settings, is that she is able to tailor material to any audience. She has material suitable for all ages and all settings.
In addition to guest comedy performances to lighten otherwise stuffy functions, Powell is also a highly sought after MC and host for a range of functions.
WHAT PREVIOUS CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY...
Brett Stavenuiter RMIT UNIVERSITY (November 2014)
"RMIT University's Business Enterprise Unit engaged Andrea to MC and provide a humour element to a breakfast workshop - Branding For the Aged Care Sector. Andrea's attention to detail was fantastic ... and she had the audience laughing throughout. Andrea spent only a few minutes with the presenter of the breakfast and yet was able to work brilliantly with him in character. I believe that Ethel was the main reason we received such wonderful feedback for this session and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to any organisation or individual who wants to get their audience's attention and keep it throughout a presentation."
Mr Kehren Eade, Hocking Stuart, St Kilda (January 2015)
"Mrs Ethel Chop is HILARIOUS ... and read the audience very well indeed. She had my guests in raptures."
